Years ago, when new people moved into a community, they could expect a visit from the Welcome Wagon. People from the community would welcome newcomers with gift bags filled with information about local businesses, recreational activities, churches, and other goodies. Parkview has rebooted the concept.
Twice a month, people from our church visit newcomers to our community and present them with a Good Neighbor Bag. The idea is not simply to provide information about our church--we want to promote local businesses and community activities.
For now, we're focusing exclusively on new residents in the Town of Bluefield, VA.
If you're new to the area and have yet to receive your Good Neighbor Bag, fill out the contact info below and we will get one to you as soon as we can.
If you have a local business you'd like to introduce to new residents, feel free to drop off any promotional materials at our church office weekdays between 9AM and 1PM (or you can bring them with you when you visit us on Sundays). It's FREE advertising for you and will greatly benefit our new neighbors.
